Fun Find for the Bakers
I'm not one to say I honestly like to bake. I'd rather cook than bake and play with flour. I'm not very confident and the thought of working so hard only to put on a few extra pounds in desserts doesn't interest me that much. Oh don't get me wrong, I love sweets! After all I'm of Danish descent. I always tell The Mr. that it's not my fault that I love cheese danish - it's in my blood. LOL. Yes I love eating the sweets just not much of a baker. Though every now and again I give it a whirl.
I found this blog today and just about fell off my chair when I read the subtitle, Adventures in Amateur Baking. Sounds like me all right. A fun find you might enjoy. I actually have seen your Gift a Cupcake before from Tulaloo's blog. I can't wait to see it on etsy! It's a great idea. I just love *meeting* police wives through the blogs and am excited to read more from you. Congratulations on your soon to be arrival!
Oh, and I love that you have the Danish excuse to eat cheese danish. I just love food and baking and cooking, but I think I OD'd this holiday season. With every plateful of treats we accepted from friends and neighbors this year, I kept asking myself with every mouthful, "why only this time of the year! Why?!" I'm amazed at the things people make though.
