Knock, Knock, I'm joining the party!

I'm a tad bit tardy joining the party, but I'm ready to jump in!

Hello and welcome to my blog. I'm delighted to have you. Hope you're having a good day. I've enjoyed visiting some wonderful blogs and meeting the most amazing people through this blog party!

I'll clink my mouse to yours (virtually speaking).

Allow me to share a little about myself.

I'm a thirty-something Mommy of two (still in diapers), loving life as a stay at home parent. I married a lawman which makes life quite interesting. I'm a christian and love the Lord and enjoy talking about faith. I'm more of a deep person and tend not to be as interested in surfacy types of things. Convos on hair and make up are nice but, I like getting to the heart of the matter. I'm pretty much a think tank, with a good sense of humor.

A few things I enjoy:

camping and the great out doors,

artsy ~ fartsy things,
pretty flowers and beautiful sunsets,
kisses & cuddles and laughing with my daughter,

sipping Earl Grey tea and relaxing with my feet up,
long hot showers,
window shopping down historic cobblestone market streets,
gardening,
people watching,
long walks with the kids in the stroller,
eating baked goods,
reading books together with my husband,
playing board games,
singing in the shower,
having a tidy home,
journaling,
the grass between my toes,
time with friends,
getting a pedicure,
taking pictures of my kids (but not scrap-booking),
sending snail mail,
meeting new people,
~
and spending time with my family.

I recently gave birth to our son J in Feb, which doesn't allow for much time to do many of those things I've just listed. If I'm not chasing around my two year old Princess, I'm surely changing a diaper or cooking or thinking about what to cook or perhaps cleaning again. You know the normal Mommy stuff. Though I wouldn't change it for the world and love my family ooodles ~I do secretly desire a mommy moment drive through where I can pull up and say,

I'll take a number "one" (alone time) with a side order of Zs, and let's super size that!

Here's where blogging comes in. It's the new found 'me' time. I probably should sleep rather than blog BUT my mind is always ticking. Ok, ok, I do nap ~ especially being sleep deprived with a new little one.

Being married to my lawman has it's challenges. I've learned that joy breaks the silence ~ laughing makes it more enjoyable. The Mr. and I try to giggle often together in order to shake off the seriousness that comes with his job.

Blogging has been a wonderful outlet for me. I'm sure I'm not alone in this. Along the way I've met the most amazing folks. Well as best as one can truly "meet" via blogging. I love to comment so drop me a hello and leave your address (http:// that is). I'll be sure to pop by :-)
